After 14 years in broadcasting Gary founded Donohue Research & Marketing and invented P1 ratings methodology, which became the proprietary research foundation for his brand management consultation of over 100 broadcasters in over 150 markets nationwide. Donohue sold the invention to The Arbitron Company where "P1" stands today as the industry standard for measuring radio brand consumer behavior. In 2006 Donohue focused these 20 years of experience with consumer brand behavior and began working with advertising agencies, marketing communication firms, and directly with CEO's of businesses. Donohue's stated purpose is to assist companies with strong top leadership to help them transform their brand's by making the decision to adopt a differentiating business strategy through a systematic approach to customer brand development & marketing and companywide operational change.
